The development of new soybean varieties has been the fundamental concern of our company for more than 30 years. The priority of the company is a major investment in the development of our unique research center with a team of highly qualified specialists.

In the field

Every year we evaluate about sixty thousand experimental soybean varieties on the experimental sites of our research center, located both in the heart of Quebec and throughout the world.

In the lab

In 2011, Semences Prograin inaugurated its new research centre, at the forefront of technology. The Company has invested $1.3 million in this centre. A new genotyping laboratory, a food quality laboratory, a laboratory for the preparation of seed samples, and an internal growth chamber for soybean have been built.
